Casino NSW Tractor Rally 26th July 2014

On the 26^th of July I took three tractors to the inaugural Casino NSW tractor show, arrived there about 9am and there was already about 20 tractors there over the course of the morning that number steadily increased to approx. 50 tractors, there was small engine exhibited as well as vintage trucks, including two vintage log trucks restored by the Brown and Hurley group who also had on display a restored David Brown tractor and Bristol Crawler. About 20% of the tractors were in restored condition, alot of the original tractors had been brought in from local farms where they have been sitting in paddocks and sheds.

                         

 

  

 

 

 

Micah's visit to tractor shed

Hi all, update. Just over 6 months ago we were blessed with the arrival of our first child. Micah Adam Bedser. So with the blessings of being a father, I have not had much time to play around with tractors and ad to my website. Today we took him to the tractor shed for the first time and sat him on my model A John Deere. He reached straight out to the steering wheel. He is at that age where he wants to reach out and touch things and getting very inquisitive. Hope he becomes a lover and green and yellow tractors like his dad.

Starting Mercedes-Benz engine for 1959 L330 Truck

This vehicle is currently undergoing restoration. Engine overhaul complete, first startup, have not got glow plugs connected to power, so using ether to help. once all air was bleed from injector lines it fired up. running water through cooling system from hose as no radiator plumbed up.
